Table Saw Basics with Randy Abramson
All
Prerequisite: Wanting to learn more about Table Saws. ADULTS ONLY - NO YOUTH - 18 YEARS AND OLDER.
Tools Required: Tools Are Provided.
Class Size: 1-4
Description: When setting up a new workshop, the first big purchase for most people is a Tablesaw. There are 3 different categories of saws, beginning with the benchtop, contractor and the full size cabinet saw. With its flat, circular spinning blade, the tablesaw can make all sorts of cuts, among them grooves, dadoes, rabbets, ripcuts, crosscuts and a variety of other woodworking joints. A tablesaw is usually only as good as the fence system it employs as well as an accurate miter gauge. As most everyone knows, safety is a prime concern when using power equipment, especially tablesaws. SAWSTOP has taken some of the guesswork out of that arena but it still needs to be a focus of tablesaw education. Come join in as we take you through the in's and out's of this hardworking tool and show you how you can learn to use this investment in time and money to build some beautiful projects.
