Welcome to the world of wood and epoxy where you’ll be hands-on designing and making your own custom epoxy charcuterie board, that you'll take home with you. It is a large Charcuterie Board roughly 1” x 12” x 20” and normally valued starting around $150. In this informative class you’ll learn everything from wood preparation and resin molds to types of resins, conditions and details for pouring all the way through the sanding and finishing process. It will cover the complete end to end process. The class will consist of two different days, with a two-hour session each day. The first session will consist of prep through pouring, and the second session will complete everything from de-molding though finishing. Each student will gain experience using the highest quality materials with the latest in state of the art resin molds, leading quality supplier of pigments and colors, top quality epoxy from the original U.S. manufacturer, and the finest walnut, cherry, and other hardwoods sustainably sourced locally from Shenandoah Valley as well as the leading food grade safe finishes from the leading U.S. supplier. No prior woodworking experience is required. You’ll build a solid foundation exploring the art of wood and epoxy before making the leap to art, coffee tables, dining tables, bar tops, and more for your home! Your imagination has no limits!
