Ever wonder how to fix a scratch, gouge, or other damage on a piece of furniture? Ever want to make that fix blend in with existing finishing? This class will not only show you how to fix these common problems but will also go over color theory, color blending, creating missing pieces, filling, topcoat restoring, and much, much more.
Want to learn some basic carving techniques and take home a finished piece? This class is a great place to start, we'll be making worry birds! You will begin with learning the difference in carving and whittling, basic safely and how to sharpen your knives and keep them in great shape. From there you will get the chance to explore the woods carvers use along with 5 different cuts and techniques ending with a quick course on extra carving tools. You'll have so much fun that before you know it, you'll have your hand-carved piece to take home!
