Minimum Age 18. Small boxes have a wide variety of uses and make excellent gifts. They can be carved, accented with inlay or highly figured woods and decoratively changed with the router. In this class you will make a box using mitered joints and spline construction.

Minimum Age 18. This class will take the mystery out of building upper cabinets. It will include design, face frame versus frameless construction and doors. During the class, students will collectively make one upper cabinet from scratch.

Bowl Turning: Mastering The Bowl Gouge

Minimum Age 18. If you want to learn how to turn bowls on the lathe, this class is for you. Ray will focus on the fingernail bowl gouge as the primary tool and will teach you how to complete your piece with a perfect bottom. He will also explain the various methods for mounting your blank on the lathe and discuss wall thickness, design and turning speed.

Your favorite competition is coming back! Our Annual Knife Competition & Show is making its return August 9! Rules are simple: - 3 categories: Forged, Cut/Grinded & Kit - 3 classes: Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced - 1st & 2nd place winners for each category - People’s Choice Award - YOU CAN ONLY SUBMIT ONE KNIFE PER CATEGORY - Anyone can submit a knife We have our amazing judges coming back this year: Brent Stubblefield (Join or Die Knives), Ben Abbott (Forged In Fire Judge/Ashgrove Forge), & Greg Campbell (Cur Custom Knives) We have 10 spots for our Knife Show so If you are a knife vendor and want to sell any product, stock and merchandise, please email us at woodcraft325@gmail.com with the header Knife Show Submission and we will reserve your spot! Knife submissions are due between August 4 - 8 We can’t wait to see what y’all make this year and good luck to all future participants!
