You will learn general lathe use, safety, correct turning speeds, how to mount wood, and when and how to make different types of cuts. Required tools: Face Shield, 1/2" Skew, 1/2" Spindle Gouge, Parting Tool, Roughing Gouge. One hour break for lunch (not provided). Safety Glasses & Face Shield, Calipers,3/8" Fingernail Bowl Gouge & Parting Tool Required.
