Laminated Bowl Turning

with Ryan Stevens

Wednesday, March 18, 2026, 6 PM - 9 PM

Ready to take your woodturning to the next level? Join us for a hands-on deep dive into laminated turning blanks. This intermediate class is perfect for turners with some lathe and bowl turning experience. You’ll learn to: choose wood species that glue well together, avoid common failure points in multi-wood blanks, compare laminated vs. solid wood strategies, safely cut and prep pieces on the miter saw, and finally glue, clamp, and laminate your bowl. We’ll turn blanks from the previous class, and yours will be turned in the next class—giving you the full start-to-finish experience. Previous turning experience is required. Note: a $20 materials fee (cash or Venmo) is payable to the instructor at the class.
