Join Master Turner Dan Ernst for this fantastic class and learn to throw ribbons of wood over your shoulder! Students will make a bowl (or two) while learning the nuances of how to hold the tools to make a variety of cuts in green, freshly cut wood. Dan will show you the basics of lathe operation, safety, sharpening, as well as how to select and prepare wood specifically for bowl turning. Note: A $20 materials fee (cash or Venmo) will be collected by the instructor at the beginning of class.
