Topics will include but are not limited to : Vectric V-Carve Software, Next Wave CNC Shark/Piranha Router, lines versus vectors, CNC Router bits, file set up and output, V-carving (letter engraving), pocket engraving, drilling patterns, creating and editing toolpaths and work set up (material to be machined). There will also be a demonstration of pocket carving and students who are able will machine a simple v-carve project.

Be prepared to give up some of your power tools and switch over to hand tools, where you become one with wood.
