Learn the basics of the most useful machine in your shop, the table-saw. We will cover the selection of the table-saw blades and accessories. Also, covered will be tune-up and maintenance of the table-saw. The basic safety rules will be covered and stressed. Using square stock, the instructor will demonstrate the safe way to complete the eight basic cuts, which are the basis for about 98% of table-saw operations. Each student will have an opportunity to practice the 8 basic cuts in class.
