Creating Filigree Pendants

Part 1: Saturday, December 14, 11 AM - 2 PM

Part 2: Sunday, December 15, 11 AM - 2 PM

Add some BLING to your Xmas this year with this project. There are 7 different small pendants for you to choose from. Do them all or just one or two. This multi-day event will afford you plenty of time to choose. After scrolling you can add different color rhinestones (provided) in class to give your pendant some sparkle. This is an intermediate project, and you should have completed the Intro to Scroll saw class or have moderate scrolling experience.

Pen Turning- Turn a Wall Street II Pen

Wednesday, December 18, 5:30 PM - 9 PM

Interested in learning how to turn a pen? You will get expert instruction and take home the Wall Street II pen that you made start to finish in this informative class. Begin by selecting the kit and wood of your choice, tour the pen area and become familiar with the other kits and projects that can be done on a lathe. If you have turning tools, feel free to bring them, however that is not a requirement.

Introduction To Woodturning

Sunday, December 29, 10:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Get to know and understand turning safety, the lathe and its attachments, tuning tools, wood grain orientation and its significance. The basics of tool sharpening will be covered as you get the feel of the tools and make beads/coves and chips. This is a fun class to get the fundamentals of spindle work and is a required class to proceed on to Introduction to Bowl Turning.
