Turn A Lidded Box

HANDS-ON. PLEASE NO BEGINNERS. BASIC TURNING SKILLS NEEDED. We have a new Turning Class that will be a big hit! Michael Boyle will provide hands-on teaching as each student turns a small "coke-can" size box with a fitted lid. You will learn how to cut the lid off the main bowl body and then cut a lip on the lid, just right so, it "SNAPS" into place. This is a fun lathe project and will teach you valuable turning skills that will last a life time. Space is limited so, sign up A.S.A.P. Basic Pen Turning Class

Saturday, November 15, 2025, 9 AM - 5 PM

HANDS-ON. 14 Years and older, under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. We have a new Pen Instructor! Join Chuck Silber as he brings the world of pen turning to life. Pen turning on the lathe is a great hobby that can also make extra money. Chuck has a great hands-on approach to teaching and will show students all the steps of how to set up your lathe with the right mandrel and bushings for easy pen turning with great results. You will leave the class with a top notch looking pen and the skills needed to make many more. No refunds for cancellations/reschedules within 7 days of class date.

Lathe Tool Sharpening Made Easy

HANDS-ON. This is a simple but, GREAT CLASS for anyone who struggles with sharpening their lathe tools. Are you confused with all the different grind angles and which power tools to use? This is the perfect class for you. We will provide hands-on teaching for everyone to use the bench grinder and get great results. No refunds for cancellations/reschedules within 7 days of class date.
