Take this class to make a crosscut sled for your table saw! Students will learn how to make and use a cross-cut sled designed to fit their own table saw, and will also learn about different hold-downs and accessories to increase the versatility of their sled. Each student will leave with a completed crosscut sled, ready to take home and put to use in their shop! NOTE: The tuition includes a pair of Incra 25-1/2" GlideLOCK Steel Miter Slider SE ($46.99/ea), but students can choose to save $90 on tuition by using hardwood runners instead. Kitchen Cabinetmaking 103: Shaker Doors

In this edition of our Kitchen Cabinetmaking Series, students will learn how to make their own Shaker style flat panel doors and drawer fronts from start to finish. Topics covered include: measuring for doors, creating a cut list, processing hardwood lumber, routing cope-and-stick joinery, assembling doors, preparing the surface for finish, and attaching euro cup hinges. While this can be taken as a standalone course, the doors and drawer fronts will be sized specifically for the cabinets built in KC101, and no size alterations will be allowed due to time and material constraints.

CNC 100: INTRO TO CNCs
