This carving session features award-winning woodcarver, Bill Shinn, demonstrating a safe and simple way to successfully carve the "Spirit Man". Learn the basics of sculpting "the old man" in Balsa Foam using a tongue depressor. The techniques can then be applied to all mediums of carving as your abilities progress to carving in wood, stone, etc. Each participant will bring to life his or her own "Spirit Man" during the class.
