Woodshop 101 at Night

Looking to get started in woodworking but not sure where to begin? This is the class for you! Louis will introduce you to the most common tools in the shop and assure you understand how to operate each of them safely. You will also learn the essentials about wood grain and movement as you move through the milling process. Students will be paired up during the class, and will leave with a cutting/serving board that will be a joy to show off. This is a hands-on class so come ready to get dirty, have some fun, and create something beautiful!! This is a two session night class. Christmas Ornaments

Friday, November 14, 2025, 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM

The students will turn several Christmas ornaments, from a simple globe with finials on top and bottom, to a hollow form with a Christmas Tree inside, topped with a finial. You will learn techniques to make unique Christmas gifts. No Refunds for Cancellations/Reschedules within 7 days of Class date.

Router Basics

Saturday, November 15, 2025, 9 AM - 12 PM

During this hands-on class students will learn about the different types of routers, router bits, maintenance procedures, and safety tips. After some open discussion about how a router can be an asset in your shop, you will move into actual operation. It is time for a few skill drills and learn to apply proper techniques to get a smooth profile on your project. This is a great refresher class and stepping stone to the afternoon class which is Router Table Basics. No Refunds for Cancellations/Reschedules within 7 days of Class date.
