During this class Louis will teach you how to turn your own pepper mill. He will assist you with, basic designs, material selection, boring holes, assembly, and finishing. During this hands-on class students will learn about the different types of routers, router bits, maintenance procedures, and safety tips. After some open discussion about how a router can be an asset in your shop, you will move into actual operation. It is time for a few skill drills and learn to apply proper techniques to get a smooth profile on your project. During this class students will learn how a router table can be a valuable asset in the shop. This is a hands-on class where you will learn proper safety techniques, set-up, bit selection, and maintenance of your router table. If you have ever thought about making your own custom moulding/trim then this class is a must. In fact, after some open discussion you will learn how a couple of bits can produce a variety of profiles. Then you will actually mill a custom piece of moulding/trim.
