With its tapered ends and a flat center, the French rolling pin is both a beautiful and practical object—perfect for honing your turning skills. This hands-on class will guide you through the fundamentals of achieving clean, symmetrical curves and flat surfaces, helping you master essential techniques while crafting a functional kitchen tool. Christmas Ornament - Hollow Globe

The class will teach you how to turn and hollow a globe for a Christmas ornament. Students will start by turning and hollowing a 2 1/2 in diameter globe. A variety of methods for mounting the globe and hollowing it will be covered. After completing the globe a cap and icicle for the globe will be turned. This workshop is geared for intermediate to advanced turners.
