Parent/Child Christmas Ornament Turning

Saturday, November 15, 2025, 1 PM - 4 PM

In this class, both Parent and child will learn how to cut the blanks, drill and mount the blanks on the lathe, turn the Ornaments and apply the finish. After the parent turns the first Ornament, they can provide assistance/supervision for the turning of the second Ornament. Then final step will be assembling the Ornament. Each student will complete an Ornament during the class. All age ranges from 10 and up accepted.

Date Night: Turning Hybrid Ornaments

Get ready for the holidays, and make a decoration / gift that's sure to be enjoyed for years to come! In this Date Night Class, each couple will make hanging Ornaments from Hybrid Blanks (Wood/Resin) prepared by Devon prior to the class. All materials are included in the class price. This class is also a great introduction to turning - beginners welcome. Devon will explain how he made the blanks, and the accessories and tools you'll use (all provided for class), and he'll demonstrate the process, from mounting your blank on the lathe, turning and finishing, and finally assembling it. Each student will leave with a beautiful ornament, and the knowledge to make more!
