Build a Concert Ukulele

Who doesn't want to build their own Concert Ukulele? In this two-session class, you will build StewMac's Concert Ukulele kit (Item #163817). The cost of the class includes the kit, as well as the finishing supplies you need to complete the instrument, along with expert instruction from accomplished luthier, Passang Bhote. Passang will walk you through the process of completing the Ukulele, but it’s up to you to practice playing it once you’re done!

Router Basics

In our Router Basics class, you'll delve into the fundamentals of using a woodworking router with precision and creativity while you make a Catch All for your keys and pocket change. Whether you're a novice woodworker or looking to expand your skills, this course is designed for you. Discover the various types of routers and their applications, learn essential safety practices, and gain hands-on experience in creating designs, smooth edges, and precise joints. From shaping edges to carving intricate patterns, this class will equip you with the knowledge and confidence to harness the versatility of woodworking routers and turn your projects into works of art.

Rough To Ready/Cutting Board

Saturday, February 7, 2026, 5 PM - 8 PM

Join Passang in this basic class which is a great hands-on introduction to most key woodworking tools - a must for all beginning woodworkers. Each student will receive a rough sawn board which they will proceed to mill (flatten, square, and cut) to a useful, final dimension to make a cutting board. The power tools you'll use in this class include the miter saw, band saw, table saw, jointer, and planer.
