Learn to create delicate and decorative woodwork in this hands-on workshop. We will guide you through scroll-saw safety and techniques, empowering you to make precise, intricate cuts. You'll apply your new skills by completing 2-3 stunning starter projects, taking home unique, handcrafted treasures and the knowledge to make more.
Create simple, modern wood decor for your home. In this 3-hour class, you’ll learn basic scroll saw techniques that will give you the skills to choose and create one to three decorative pieces, such as layered designs or clean-cut wall or shelf accents. This class is beginner-friendly and focused on building confidence while making something beautiful. You’ll leave with finished pieces ready to display or gift. This class offers a relaxed, encouraging environment that makes woodworking feel approachable and fun.
Description: At the end of the workshop, participants will use some basic milling and building techniques and hands on experience to make a shaker style step stool with handle. Participants will leave with a completed shaker style step stool with handle ready for finishing. Some basic large power tool experience useful but not necessary.
This is an introduction to CNC wood working. Each month you will be witness to the process from drawing the project onto the computer to loading the program into the CNC Machine to cutting the project on the CNC machine.
Learn the essentials of dust collection machinery and key accessories, including Magfitt magnetic fittings, to improve shop safety, airflow, and cleanup efficiency.
By the end of the Workshop, students will: Understand Scroll Saw safety and setup. Be able to identify types of blades and their uses. Make interior and exterior cuts using various techniques. And will complete 2 - 3 beginner scroll saw projects.
