Entry/Hall Table

Part 1: Friday, December 6, 5 PM - 9 PM

Part 2: Saturday, December 7, 9 AM - 5 PM

Part 3: Sunday, December 8, 10 AM - 5 PM

Students will complete their own piece of fine furniture, a cherry table with a floating top that will look good as a hall table , or sofa table. You will learn with and use the jointer, planer, drill press, router, pocket hole jig, taper jig, drum sander, and more. Materials included in tuition. Bowl Turning

Saturday, December 7, 8 AM - 4 PM

Gary's basic bowl class concentrates on the craft of making a wooden bowl for everyday practical use. The basics of wood selection, mounting the wood to the lathe, design elements and the use of bowl gouges to turn and shape the bowl. Sanding and finishing will also be discussed. Materials included in tuition. No refunds for Cancellations/Reschedules within 7 days of class date.

Wood Staining

Monday, December 9, 5:30 PM - 9 PM

A hands-on experience that will allow you to tackle your next staining project with confidence and achieve successful results. We'll cover the various types of stains (oil, water and alcohol based) as well as the various ways to apply them from brush and wipe-on to spaying and toning. Also sign-up for Introduction to Basic Finishing and Spray Finishing Techniques. Get all three classes for $240, saving you $30. Materials included in tuition.
