CNC the XYZ:…an introductory seminar into the world of the CNC. This three block program includes: an introduction to software, an overview of CNC mechanics and how to cut a v-carve sign. During the software portion, participants will create a sign using Vectric VCarve and develop a toolpath. Followed by instruction on how to secure a blank, the parts, the operation and safe use of a CNC. A demonstration of a V-Carved sign concludes the seminar. River Table Top

Learn how colored epoxy adds a creative zest to wood projects. Here we will make a small table top, approx. 22" x 16", which will make a nice coffee table or end table. First day: make the mold, prep the wood, mix the liquid acrylic and color agent, and pour it into the mold. Second day: After the acrylic has cured we will remove the wood from the mold and use the planer, jointer, and drum sander to clean up the surfaces. Legs can be added for additional purchase.
