We will be carving a simple gnome for a decoration or to give as a gift. Please bring your own tools, basic carving and tool maintenance will be covered
The carcass of a cabinet is the box. The face frame is the solid wood frame that covers the front edge of the box. This class will cover design, layout, machines, equipment, and cabinetry construction. You will be constructing a full-size cabinet that you will be able to take home. Bring a notepad and a pencil, you’ll need them. Wood will be provided for the project.
This class will demystify the construction and process of making a Raised Panel Door that will go on your cabinet. You will use the table saw, miter saw, router table, hand router, and random orbital sander. We will discuss design, techniques, and proper tool use, and you will learn the math required to create an appropriate list of cuts. Come with a notepad and a pencil; you’ll need to take plenty of notes. Wood will be provided for the project.
