Learn how to use a lath by employing tools and techniques to turn a wood pen. Must be 18 years of age to attend. Class fee covers material to make 2 pens. Turning pens is a lot of fun and they make great gifts! Class Refund Policy: No Refunds or Cancellations/Reschedules within 7 days of Class date.
Students will create two 5"x7" ocean seascapes using surface-pour resin and wood that they will prepare in class. To allow for proper cure time, project pick-up will be at a later date.
In this class you will build a small lidded box with a lift off lid. Bill has over 20 years of woodworking experience. He will walk you through the entire process of making this exquisite box. By the end of the class you will leave with a very nice-looking box that can be left natural or stained. He will also cover different finishing options to give the box the appearance you desire.
