Students will be using Walnut, Hard Maple, Cherry, and Purpleheart to make a 12" x 15" cutting board. They will be learning woodworking techniques on a Powermatic planer, Jet drum sander, and Sawstop table saw and router table. Students will also learn the different types of cutting boards, ideal wood species for the cutting board, and different techniques on how to finish cutting boards.
