This will be a 2 part class. On the first day, students will learn about deep-pour resin and prepare live-edge wood pieces. The second day will consist of cutting and finishing the coasters.
Students will create two 5"x7" ocean seascapes using surface-pour resin and wood that they will prepare in class. To allow for proper cure time, project pick-up will be at a later date.

The Basic Cabinet Class is a foundational woodworking course designed to equip beginners with the fundamental skills and knowledge needed to construct a Shaker style cabinet. The cabinet dimensions are 16" x 24" x 35". Throughout the course, students will learn essential techniques such as measuring, cutting, and using pocket holes to join wood to create functional and aesthetically pleasing cabinets. The curriculum covers topics including selecting appropriate tools and materials, and safely operating woodworking machinery. Under Bill Martin's guidance, participants will gain hands-on experience allowing them to develop confidence and proficiency in cabinet making. By the end of the course, students will have the skills to embark on their own cabinet-making projects with competence and creativity. Learn how to use a lathe by employing tools and techniques to turn a wood pen. Must be 18 years of age to attend. Class fee covers material to make 2 pens.
