Description: Enjoy six full hours of bowl turning. Learn to select and use readily available wood for bowl blanks, and how to take a log to a finished bowl. Mounting methods, surface preparation, sanding and finishing methods are covered. Each student will take home a finished bowl. One hour break for lunch (not provided).

Description: This class will cover three objectives; to familiarize the students with the general types of routers available, to review the various types of router bits and their application, and to familiarize the students with the operation and adjustment of their router. This is a hands on course so bring your safety glasses, router and router bits, and be prepared to make some practice cuts!
