Just getting started in woodworking or interested in improving your woodworking skills? This foundation course introduces you to the wonderful world of woodworking. In this two day hands-on class you will construct a small wall shelf with a drawer and two shelves using basic joinery techniques. You will also gain experience in how to safely use a miter saw, table saw, bandsaw, jointer, planer, router table and sanders. In this class you will build a small lidded box with a lift off lid. Bill has over 20 years of woodworking experience. He will walk you through the entire process of making this exquisite box. By the end of the class you will leave with a very nice-looking box that can be left natural or stained. He will also cover different finishing options to give the box the appearance you desire.
