Hands-On Beginning Turning

Description: This class is an introduction to spindle turning, sometimes called turning between centers. Pete will explain techniques and show you the steps as you turn a wooden mallet on the lathe. This is a great class for students interested in a bump up from pen turning or for those looking to get started in wood turning. This class will also satisfy the prerequisite for the "Learn Bowl Turning" class.
Prerequisite: Desire to get hooked on lathe turning.
