This "beginner's" router class, will cover which type of router is best suited for you, the 5 must have router bits and their uses, correct router cutting techniques, key accessories, router tables, maintenance and SAFETY. If you own a router or you're thinking about buying one, this class is tailor-made for you.
Learn the fundamentals of box joint joinery in this hands-on class featuring the JessEm Box Joint Jig! Participants will learn how to safely set up and use the jig to create strong, great-looking box joints for woodworking projects. Along the way, we’ll cover router table setup, spacing, and techniques for getting clean, consistent results. By the end of class, each student will go home with a custom wooden box they built themselves and the confidence to keep exploring box joint joinery in future projects. Minimum 3 students.
After years of waiting, our hands on cabinet class is finally here! In the 102 class you will build a Euro-style base cabinet carcass. This class is designed to get you familiar with the most basic construction of the cabinet itself. Plywood is included in the cost of the class and full sheets will be broken down by the students. In the following class (103), your cabinet will evolve with the door and drawer to provide a fully functional cabinet! This is intended to be class 2 of a 3 part series.
