NEW CLASS - In this class, resident expert, Bob Settich will teach you the time-honored mortise and tenon joint. This strongest of all joints will enable you to make tables and other furniture of almost any style. With a hand held router and a jig that you'll make with scrap plywood, you'll cut mortises with amazing precision. Additionally, the jig also places the mirror-image mortise in the legs at the opposite end of each table or chair rail. You'll also practice several different ways of producing tenons that fit perfectly. Lastly, you'll learn techniques for no-stress glue-ups, plus several reinforcing steps that will create incredibly strong furniture.
