Basic Pen Turning Class

HANDS-ON. 14 Years and older, under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. We have a new Pen Instructor! Join Chuck Silber as he brings the world of pen turning to life. Pen turning on the lathe is a great hobby that can also make extra money. Chuck has a great hands-on approach to teaching and will show students all the steps of how to set up your lathe with the right mandrel and bushings for easy pen turning with great results. Build A Spline Corner Keepsake Box

Sunday, June 14, 2026, 9 AM - 5 PM

HANDS-ON. Mark Seay has come up with a great Table Saw Box Class. Mark is a wonderful teacher and his hands-on style of teaching really helps everyone learn about "how" to do woodworking! Students will make a small Keepsake Box from two contrasting woods on the table saw. The little box will have spline cut corners with contrasting wood splines to give it strength. The contrasting splines will give the box an extra sharp look. This is a really great looking little box and would make a wonderful gift for that someone special.
