November 8–10, 2026 | FREE Class Give back to those who serve! Join us for Turn for the Troops and learn how to turn a beautiful wooden pen that will be donated to a member of our military. No experience necessary! Our team will guide you through the process and provide the materials and instruction you need. Come make a pen, support our troops, and be part of something meaningful. FREE to participate — space is limited, so sign up today! Must be 13 years old or older. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Pine Car Classic Build & Race "RACE DAY"

Join us at the Woodcraft of Wilmington store for our Pine Car Classic! This event is run by volunteers and is made possible through their time and dedication. Build, customize, and race your very own pine car in a fun event for all ages. Event Details: Pine Car Kit: $10.00 (Cash Only in Store) * KIT MUST BE PURCHASED AT OUR STORE * Kits must be purchased prior to the event in order to build and shape your pine car. Participants can build and decorate their cars, then compete in the Pine Car Classic race. Whether you're a first-time builder or a seasoned racer, everyone is welcome! Bring your creativity and enjoy a day of woodworking, friendly competition, and family fun.

Twisted Board Challenge

Part 1: Sunday, March 14, 2027, 9 AM - 3 PM

Part 2: Sunday, March 28, 2027, 9 AM - 3 PM

In this challenge, exclusively at Woodcraft Delaware, we have lots of dimensioned lumber that twisted. We want you to come pick 2 boards and make a project. (it's free) You can use ANY fastener you want. The only wood that can be used is from the boards you pick from the twisted pile. These projects are due March 14th, 2027. Judged on March 28th, 2027.
