In this class you will learn to use a scroll saw. Louis will teach you proper safety procedures, blade selection, set-up, design options, and material selection. Lidded Jewelry Box

Learning how to build a Lidded Box is a great introduction to box making. The skills used to cut accurate miters will be explained in detail as students make their own box. The joints will be reinforced with splines using accenting wood to add strength and beauty. You will be using a variety of tools to accomplish this including the Table Saw, Router, Drum Sander and various hand tools.
