Minimum Age 18. In it’s down position this hall table with drawer fits in any room comfortably. It can quickly transform to a four-person square table by swinging the rear legs on their wooden hinges to support the folding leaf. Learn how to cut your drawer fronts out of the apron, dovetail and add cockbead to give them a distinct look and fit them with a hand plane. Please visit the store to see an example of the project you will build. Prerequisite: Fundamentals of Woodworking Other recommended classes before attending: Intermediate Woodworking, Router Magic, Porter Cable Dovetail Jig

Bowl Turning: Mastering The Bowl Gouge

Minimum Age 18. If you want to learn how to turn bowls on the lathe, this class is for you. Ray will focus on the fingernail bowl gouge as the primary tool and will teach you how to complete your piece with a perfect bottom. He will also explain the various methods for mounting your blank on the lathe and discuss wall thickness, design and turning speed.

Hand Cut Dovetails

Minimum Age 18. Students will learn to lay out and hand cut through and half blind dovetails. At the end of this class, you will be able to plan your projects around the pinnacle of woodworking joints...the dovetail. Tuition includes a new, personal chisel for each student.
