Even a few minutes in this comfortable seat puts your mind into vacation mode. Not only will you enjoy building a lasting classic but also enjoy the chair's durability by being made from decay resistant cypress. You will learn how to use templates for consistent and repeatable component piece completion. You will then assemble those components into your own backyard masterpiece. This is a hands-on class where students will build their own chair and take home the templates to build more!

Description: Do you and your significant other want to learn basic wood working skills and have fun creating a one of a kind project together? We will provide the food, soft drinks, and materials. You only need to show up and be ready to make some saw dust. Projects will vary from month to month and will consist of small projects such as pens, bottle stoppers, bottle openers, picture holders, and wine bottle holders. The class will begin with appetizers, refreshments, time to socialize and project descriptions. The remaining time will be utilized to build the projects and to socialize as a group. This months project will be a wine rack.
