Discover the fundamentals of laser engraving and cutting by delving into digital design, exploring different engraving techniques, and selecting materials. Students will leave the class with a unique, custom-engraved piece. While it is not required, students are encouraged to bring their own laptops with xTool's Creative Space (XCS) software installed.
Beginners Class for making box style turkeys calls. Students will learn how to make, tune, and finish this style of call using various wood working machines and techniques. Each student will make two calls
Learn to sharpen both chisels and plane blades using both honing jigs and by hand. We will be using diamond plates and waterstones. All materials provided, but you may bring your own if you wish. Bring your own chisels and/or planes or use the ones provided in the class.
