Scroll-sawing the most popular, rewarding and safest of all woodworking activities. The tool is easy for beginning woodworkers of all ages to create a wide variety of useful and fun items. This class will show you how to set-up and use the saw, select the proper blade for different projects, find or create and use patterns, and to sand and finish your creation. You will practice basic in- and outside cuts to make sticks figures, puzzles, three-dimensional objects, and much more.

Turning Holliday Ornaments

Explore the artistry of woodturning in our holiday ornament-making class! Open to kids ages 10 and up as well as adults, this hands-on experience lets each participant create a unique ornament, choosing from a variety of woods and designs. Whether you're a beginner or experienced woodturner, you'll learn to transform raw wood into festive treasures—perfect for your tree or as heartfelt handmade gifts. This class blends creativity and craftsmanship, adding a touch of homemade charm to your holiday season.

Introduction to Woodworking I

Part 1: Saturday, December 6, 2025, 9 AM - 5 PM

Part 2: Sunday, December 7, 2025, 9 AM - 5 PM

With Intro to Woodworking I, the student will learn the basic aspects, safety measures and uses of power tools and furniture assembly procedures. You will complete a small wall hanging cabinet. You will gain hands-on experience with basic joinery' how to "4 square" a board as well as hardware installation by the end of the last session.
