      Sturdy base

      No real assembly required. Box it was shipped in was all but destroyed in transit but no damage to base unit. The three wheel design requires a little care in how you push or pull the unit into position. Put the saw base cabinet on it first before beginning saw assembly as the instruction suggest.

      Almost 5 stars

      I didn't give 5 stars due to the fact that the holes for the straight wheels were not tapped well and I had to clean them out before the locks would function. A quality control issue for sure.

      Worth every cent

      Having destroyed a less expensive base I purchased the Powermatic base and what a difference. This base is heavy duty and will last forever. The quality and construction justify the price.
