Projects are different in every class. Projects in the past include wine holders, tea lights, display boxes, barbeque grill tools, cheese boards, and clocks/weather stations.....just to name a few. Introduction To The Lathe CLS238

Tired of making things square and flat? Don’t have room for all the equipment? This class introduces you to the lathe, turning tools, sharpening and spindle turning techniques. This class teaches lathe safety, proper body mechanics and the use of basic tool techniques to produce two of the most commonly found shapes: beads and coves. After learning these techniques you will have the opportunity to turn one or two small projects chosen by the instructor. Once you’re hooked on turning we offer pen, bowl turning and other turned project classes.
