Whittling is a relaxing and rewarding hobby enjoyed worldwide. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to use specialized tools, select the right wood, and master basic techniques. Saman offers several design options for you to choose from, allowing you to create some unique, hand-carved projects. ou’ll also learn how to sharpen and maintain your tools for future projects. Join our knowledgeable instructor Steve as he helps you move your woodworking skills up to the next level. In this class students will make a classic Arts and Crafts End Table. In this class you will learn how to prepare the lumber, layout and cutting of the various joints, edge shaping, Glue-up/assembly, and more. The result: a solidly made, beautiful heirloom end table that will last forever! In this class students will use the table saw, bandsaw, jointer, planer and various hand tools to complete the table. ***Students will learn about and be required to select and purchase their own lumber after their first class and before the second.***
