Students will learn to build a 10" x 10" Shadow Box with a glass front. During this class Michaela will teach you how to build a frame for your 3D artworks, trinkets, souvenirs, etc. You are welcome to bring the item or items you plan to put in your 10" x 10" shadow box. We will discuss different ways to finish or mount within your Shadow Box.
Are you interested in learning the steps to make a Resin Casting for the lathe? During this class we will cover the following steps; mixing the resin using a gram scale, mixing colorants (dyes or powders), filling molds, and proper usage of a pressure pot. We will discuss different types of molds, materials to make a mold, materials to put in the mold, and ways to attach your casting to a lathe. Now it is time to cast your own project. You will take home your own casting to take home and turn. No Refunds for Cancellations/Reschedules within 7 days of Class date.
