Woodturning: Lidded Vessel

Upgrade your bowl turning game by learning how to make lidded vessels entirely on the lathe. In this class, the instructor will cover precision fitting, form design and tips for turning one solid piece into a two-part vessel. Students must provide their own bowl gouge, hollowing tools similar to Easy Wood Tools Hollower #2 and #3, spindle gouge, and parting tool. Students are required to bring these tools to the class. Each student is responsible for supplying their own safety glasses or face shield and hearing protection.

Woodturning: Bowl And Mallet

In this hands-on class, you will learn both of the main skills in woodturning; face plate turning and how to create all of the basic spindle shapes and cuts. Students will turn a small bowl and a wooden mallet. This is the perfect class for the beginning turner, or a great way to hone your turning skills. Each student is responsible for supplying their own roughing gouge, bowl gouge, spindle gouge, skew, parting tool, face shield and dust mask.
