Cabinetry 2: Building Stile & Rail Doors

In this class, you'll learn to make stile and rail cabinet doors. Students will take home their completed doors. As in most cabinet making, the table saw and router table are the main tools used for door construction. Each student is responsible for supplying their own tape measure, steel rule, adjustable square, pencils or other marking device, notebook, safety glasses and hearing protection.

Woodworking: Make A Laminated Cutting Board

In this hands-on class you will be introduced to tools like the table saw, jointer, planer, band saw, drum sander and router. Students will construct a multi-colored cutting board using hardwoods like Maple, Beech, Cherry, Alder, Oak and Walnut. General and machine safety, wood choice and adhesive selection will be covered. AND, you will take home a cutting board fit for the finest gourmet kitchen! Each student is responsible for supplying their own safety glasses, hearing protection, note pad and pencil.

Epoxy Coasters

Part 1: Sunday, May 24, 2026, 9:30 AM - 12 PM

Part 2: Tuesday, May 26, 2026, 1 PM - 4 PM

In this 2-day class you will learn about epoxy while making a set of 4" x 4" epoxy coasters! On day one you will mix epoxy with the pigment of your choice and pour it into a HDPE mold. On day two, you will de-mold, sand and then finish your coasters with a flood coat. The flood coat will need to cure overnight. Coasters can be picked up any time after that. Each student is responsible for supplying their own notebook, pencil, filter mask or respirator and gloves. Students must wear closed toe shoes to this class.
