Besides the router, the bandsaw is the most versatile power tool you can own. This class will teach you how to properly set up and safely use the saw. We will cover the different types and sizes of bandsaws, how to select the proper blade, and how to tune the tool to achieve the best results. You will get hands-on experience making straight and curved cuts on a flat board as well as practice re-sawing techniques. For the second half of the class, each student will use what they've learned to complete a small bandsaw box.
