See what the Festool Domino is all about first hand, or level up your skills. We'll go through what the domino can do, how it works, browse the accessories it comes with to create precision joinery quickly and accurately. This class provides demos and allows for Hands-On experience with the DF-500.
Two times the fun. During this "couples" night, one person creates a cherry and maple laminated cheese cutting board while the other uses a lathe to turn a wine bottle stopper.
Get to know and understand turning safety, the lathe and its attachments, tuning tools, wood grain orientation and its significance. The basics of tool sharpening will be covered as you get the feel of the tools and make beads/coves and chips. This is a fun class to get the fundamentals of spindle work and is a required class to proceed on to Introduction to Bowl Turning.
Using your router to create projects gets a little easier with a jig or template. We’ll walk you through the basics how to rout with a template.
