Woodworking Fundamentals

Part 1: Tuesday, May 26, 2026, 6 PM - 8:30 PM

Part 2: Wednesday, May 27, 2026, 6 PM - 8:30 PM

Part 3: Thursday, May 28, 2026, 6 PM - 8:30 PM

During this 3-part class, participants will learn how to use a table saw, jointer, thickness planer and mitersaw while making a laminated cutting board. Hard maple and cherry will be used for the laminations. Limited use of a router will also be involved.

Hand Tool Sharpening

Saturday, May 30, 2026, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Learn what you need to know to quickly get razor sharp edges on your hand tools. In this hands-on class you will learn what is sharp, why we sharpen, how to sharpen and when to stop. The sharpening process can be applied across the many hand sharpening systems available today including water stones, diamond stones, oil stones or the scary sharp sandpaper system. This class will focus on sharpening plane irons and chisels. The skills learned can be applied to any cutting edge tool. Bring a dull chisel or plane blade to sharpen in class.

Furniture Make a Shaker Bench

Part 1: Monday, June 1, 2026, 6 PM - 9 PM

Part 2: Tuesday, June 2, 2026, 6 PM - 9 PM

In this 2 part class, create a Shaker/Mission style bench! Your bench will be approximately 28" x 12" 16" (L,W,H). You will use the table saw, bandsaw, and router to create this bench. Great of a small child seat or general use around the home. Choose between Poplar (to paint) or Red Oak (to finish) at home.
