In this class you’ll be introduced to the most useful finishing tool you may not have considered in your shop: a Grex Airbrush. Designed specifically for woodworkers, this class will introduce you to the fundamental techniques of airbrushing as a finishing tool. This class will be taught by Raymond Wong, Grex’s owner and airbrush expert. In celebration of Grex’s 30th anniversary the class tuition is $30.00! What You’ll Learn: • Airbrush Components: Understand the different parts pieces, trigger types, tips, and components necessary to successfully integrate airbrushing into your finishing process. • Airbrush Media & Tips: Explore various paints, dyes, and finishes used in airbrushing, along with an overview of tip types and how they affect spray patterns and detail work. • Hands-On Application: Apply your new skills directly on wood surfaces through guided exercises, from prepping the surface to finish application. Whether you’re looking to enhance furniture, add intricate details to cabinetry, or create custom art pieces, this class will give you the tools and confidence to incorporate airbrushing into your woodworking repertoire.
