Learn to construction your own cabinets! In this class each student will produce a 24” wide base cabinet with a drawer. You'll learn to break down sheet goods, build the cabinet box, and build a face frame door. The cabinet box will be made from ¾” veneered plywood and the shaker style door will be constructed from hardwood cherry for the stiles and rails. The door will be mounted with soft close hidden hinges. Your cabinet will be unfinished at the end of class and you will finish it at home. This is a three session class.

Maximizing Your Bandsaw

Monday, February 9, 2026, 1 PM - 2 PM

Join Alex Snodgrass, the leading authority on the bandsaw, for an in-depth seminar on unlocking the full potential of your bandsaw. Participants will learn how to fine tune a bandsaw for smoother cuts and greater accuracy. He will also demonstrate how Carter Products accessories extend the tool’s range. Build A Pin Box and Two-Drawer Wave Box

Renowned bandsaw master Alex Snodgrass will lead a hands-on class devoted to building two striking projects: a four-drawer pin box and a two-drawer wave box. Instruction covers setup, cutting techniques and safe shaping methods while Alex guides participants step by step and answers questions throughout the process. He also reveals the secrets behind his signature designs, including magnetic boxes, push button boxes, the gravity pin box and an articulated snake. Our “Date Night: Pizza and Ice Cream” is a great opportunity to have fun and learn a new skill with your significant other or good friend. In this class, each of you will create a beautiful kitchen accessory (pizza cutter and an ice cream scoop) and have a great and memorable time together. The price is per couple; how you split the pizza and ice cream bill later is up to you!

Learn how to easily make an epoxy river charcuterie board by making a mold,mix and color epoxy, pour the epoxy, sand, and finish. Come join us for a two part class and learn how to easily make an epoxy river charcuterie board. On day one, you will learn how to custom make a mold, cut and prep a live edge slab, and mix and color the epoxy. Day two will be all about de-molding, cutting to final dimension, edge treatments, and final sanding and polishing Your finished board will measure approximately 20"x12"X1" and be a great gift idea for a loved one, or a perfect conversation piece at your next party.

Bowl Turning with Carbide Tools

In this class, you’ll use carbide turning tools—no sharpening required—so you can focus entirely on the creative process, not tool maintenance. You’ll learn the fundamentals of lathe operation, safety, and carbide-specific turning techniques that make the process approachable for beginners and enjoyable for all skill levels. By the end of the session, you’ll take home a finished bowl you’ll be proud to show off to friends and family. 🔧 No experience necessary—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to get a little dusty!

Sharpening Chisels and Planes

Saturday, February 21, 2026, 9 AM - 12 PM

Edge tools such as chisels and planes must be razor sharp to perform at their best.  This 3-hour class will teach the basic techniques to achieve that sharpness.  Instructor Chuck Luttrell will explain and demonstrate his method for sharpening chisels and plane irons.  As part of the class fee students will receive the necessary jig and stones to create their own sharpening kit:  a Veritas Mk.II Standard Honing Guide, a King 250X1000 water stone, a Shapton 4000 glass stone, a Shapton 8000 glass stone, and a Norton Truing stone.  Not included, but must be provided by the students are and used during the class -  a shallow lipped 9 x 13 baking sheet/pan to serve as a base for the sharpening stones, a sealable plastic tub or food container to store the stones in, and a plastic spray bottle.

Learn how sharp tools transform your turning. In this hands-on woodworking class, students will focus on sharpening woodturning tools such as gouges, scrapers, and skews. We’ll cover several popular sharpening systems including the Tormek, Sorby Sharpening System, and using a slow speed grinder.
