Router Series: Joinery
with Brandon BarengFriday, August 14, 2026, 10 AM - 2 PM
Expand your woodworking skills by discovering how a router can create strong, accurate, and repeatable joinery. In this hands-on class, you'll learn several of the most common router joinery techniques used in furniture making, cabinetry, boxes, and home projects. Students will practice cutting dados, grooves, rabbets, mortises, and tongue-and-groove joints while learning when each joint is most appropriate and how to set up the router for clean, precise results. You'll also learn how to use edge guides, straightedges, and shop-made jigs to improve accuracy and consistency. By the end of class, you'll have a collection of sample joints to reference in your future projects and the confidence to incorporate router joinery into your own woodworking.
