Learn to construction your own cabinets! In this class each student will produce a 24” wide base cabinet with a drawer. You'll learn to break down sheet goods, build the cabinet box, and build a face frame door. The cabinet box will be made from ½” veneered plywood and the shaker style door will be constructed from hardwood cherry for the stiles and rails. The door will be mounted with soft close hidden hinges. Your cabinet will be unfinished at the end of class, and you will finish it at home. This is a four session class. Tuition includes $150 material fee.

Pen Turning with Jon

This form of woodworking could become habit-forming! You'll be grinning ear to ear after making your first turned pen! In this hands-on class, you'll turn, every step of the way, a beautiful pen that you'll be proud to show off or give as a gift. And you'll go home with a basic understanding of lathe operation, tools, and turning techniques.

Turn a Stave Bowl

Scroll Saw: Mother's Day Rose

Celebrate Mother’s Day with creativity and craftsmanship in this beginner-friendly scroll saw class at Woodcraft. Whether you’re brand new to woodworking or looking to try something new, this hands-on workshop is the perfect introduction to the scroll saw. We’ll start with the essentials—learning proper machine setup, including an overview of blade types, how to install and tension blades correctly, and safe, effective operation techniques. You’ll gain the confidence and foundational knowledge needed to begin your scroll sawing journey. Once you’re comfortable with the basics, you’ll put your new skills into practice by following a guided pattern to create a beautiful wooden rose—an enduring, handcrafted gift perfect for Mother’s Day.
