Want to learn to work with wood but don’t know where to start? This class is designed to give hands-on experience with all major woodworking tools, including the table saw, jointer, planer, drill press, and a variety of hand power tools. Participants will complete two projects designed to teach the practical use of the tools. Upon completion, you’ll feel confident enough to not only use all of these tools but to make wise purchases of your own tools. All you need to bring is your creativity! Note: Attendance is mandatory for the first session, and a material/supply fee of $150 is due at the first class, paid directly to the instructor. This class has a minimum enrollment of three students. Should less than three students sign up, tuition will be refunded.

Create Your Own Epoxy River Charcuterie Board – 2-Part Workshop Join us for a fun and hands-on two-part class where you’ll create a stunning epoxy river charcuterie board from start to finish—no experience necessary! In Part 1, you’ll learn how to build a custom mold, prep a live edge slab, and mix and tint epoxy with your own creative flair. Then, you’ll pour your unique river design and watch it come to life! In Part 2, we’ll walk you through de-molding, trimming to final dimensions, edge shaping, and the all-important sanding and polishing process to get that glass-smooth finish. We’ll walk through the basics of what dovetails are, why they matter, and how to approach them with simple tools and a step-by-step mindset. No prior experience with joinery or hand tools is required—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to learn. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of the process and the confidence to start practicing on your own.
