In this class the student will learn how to make a cutting board using different types of wood. You will learn how to measure, cut, glue, and round off the edges of the board and then put on a finish. By the end of the class the students will have the knowledge to go to their own shop and make many more cutting boards for friends and family.

Create your own custom design or choose from a selection of ready-made options—either way, you'll make something uniquely special! No experience needed—participants will be guided through the xTool software, design process, and laser engraving experience, making it easy and fun for everyone to create their masterpiece. Once your magnet is created, bring it to life with colorful acrylic paint pens and finish it off by adding a magnet backing, creating a keepsake Dad can proudly display on the refrigerator, toolbox, or anywhere he likes! Drop in anytime between 10 AM – 5 PM and create at your own pace. Stay for a quick project or take your time and enjoy the experience! Great for kids of all ages. Build a timeless wooden bench while learning essential woodworking skills in this hands-on class. Students will create a traditional Five Board Bench from rough lumber using shop tools including the table saw, planer, bandsaw, drill, and sanders. Throughout the class, students will learn material preparation, layout and measuring techniques, basic joinery, assembly, and sanding techniques. This project is ideal for beginners looking to build confidence in the woodshop while completing a functional piece of furniture to take home. Students will leave class with a bench ready to paint, stain, or finish to their personal preference. Various finishing options and techniques will be discussed during class.
