Scroll Sawing is a very enjoyable woodworking hobby. It has many styles that let you make beautiful pieces within scroll sawing, fret work or intarsia. This introducion class helps you practice and learn the correct way to easily do these with an expert instructor. You will complete beginning pieces in the class to take home with you.
This beginning woodworking class will easily guide you through the first steps of woodworking and you will end up with a Cutting Board. You'll learn about lumber, safety, power equipment use, project layout, assembly techniques, joinery and finishing approaches. All of your questions can be answered in this hands-on class, and it will be fun.
What can you do with a scrap of Rectangle Wood Stock & (2) Additional Wood Species, some glue, and a Lathe? Make a CELTIC KNOT ROLLING PIN. This is a (2) Day (3) Hour - Evening Class where Rich will teach you the Table Saw Cuts & Glue Up Techniques and you will finish it on a Lathe to create your own masterpiece.
TURN FOR TROOPS! 10A - 5P FREE & NO SIGNUP! Come One, Come All... Turn a Pen for our Troops! No Experience Necessary! Our experienced Volunteers & Staff will help you with the basic skill to turn a pen. (This is not a Pen Turning Class). Pen Turning not required, you are welcome to write a note to go with a pen.
