The Intro to Pyrography, or wood burning, Brittany will teach you the intricacies of pyrography techniques. You will learn how to lay out a pattern and begin the texturing of your project. We will spend time practicing with various tips, shading techniques, and finishing suggestions. You will make a pair of coasters with either a 3" x 3" image pattern you bring with you or a pattern chosen from stock images upon arrival.

Renowned bandsaw master Alex Snodgrass will lead a hands-on class devoted to building two striking projects: a four-drawer pin box and a two-drawer wave box. Instruction covers setup, cutting techniques and safe shaping methods while Alex guides participants step by step and answers questions throughout the process. He also reveals the secrets behind his signature designs, including magnetic boxes, push button boxes, the gravity pin box and an articulated snake. Additionally, participants will receive exclusive access to a private video showcasing the completed projects, extending the learning beyond the classroom. In bowl turning class you will be guided through the steps of making your very own offset bowl. An offset bowl (pictured below) requires the student to have a significant amount of experience with bowl turning. Students will start with a 7x3 rounded blank and learn how to mount and turn to create a one of a kind bowl. Our newest class also features our newest instructor, Rich Cowan, who we are so excited has joined our instructional team! Come check it out and take your turning to the next level.
