Router Basics

HANDS-ON. We have a great class that will teach all the ins-and-outs of how to use your Router. Both Router table work and hand-held Router work will be covered. Students will get hands-on experience and build a small storage box during this informative class. You will learn different techniques of cut, fence and miter gauge work, Router bit selection and basic Router safety. Cutting dados, rabbets, slots, mitered corners and edge trim will be easy. HANDS-ON. OUR MOST POPULAR CLASS!! ADULTS ONLY - NO YOUTH - 18 YEARS AND OLDER. This foundation course introduces you to the wonderful world of woodworking. You will learn how to set alignment and use the chop saw, table saw, jointer, planner, band saw, router table and a stationary sander. Safety will be emphasized with each machine. Each student will complete a hands-on project using basic joinery techniques. Types of wood and finishing techniques will also be discussed. Lathe Tool Sharpening Made Easy

HANDS-ON. This is a simple but, GREAT CLASS for anyone who struggles with sharpening their lathe tools. Are you confused with all the different grind angles and which power tools to use?
