This class will begin at "step one" on Band Saw setup and tuneup. Wheel alignment, blade selection, blade installation, cool blocks vs bearing guides and fine tuning will all be covered. Howard will teach the basics of wood technology and stock preparation. This fun, quick class will cover the use of the table saw, jointer and thickness planer. Students will also learn which side of the board should be used for the outside of the project and learn how to glue up a panel without it cupping. In this Lecture/Demo, students will learn how to build first-class looking cabinets for the kitchen, laundry room, bathroom or workshop. Learn how to build both the upper and lower units and how to install them for that perfect fit. Various joinery methods will be shown including Kreg Pocket Holes and Biscuits. Learn how to install Euro-style hinges with or without a face-frame, and also learn the tricks of the trade to installing drawer glides. This is a great class... don't miss it!
