Pen turning made easy in this class. Learn the basics of pen turning and make your own Wall Street II pen. Cover lathe operations, carbide tool use, sanding, and finishing techniques. You will make two pens. After this class, you’ll never have to buy a gift again!
Using a combination of oils, polish, stains, tough-up color, and wax, we will restore a small piece of your own furniture, or a made-with-wood decorative accessory. Examples - chairs, small tables, boxes. (No large case pieces, please.) We will work on restoring worn finishes, water rings, scratches, residue, to give your cherished item a sense of renewal.
By the end of the Workshop, students will better Understand Scroll Saw safety and Setup. Be able to identify types of blades and their uses.
Using your router to create projects gets a little easier with a jig or template. We’ll walk you through the basics how to rout with a template.
Don’t just kick the tires. Learn how to properly keep your bandsaw in top working order.
