This Mid-Century Modern media console is a classic design of the period and will be a show piece in your home. The highlight is the tambour doors, which you will learn to make on the router table. The flared legs are trademarks of the era. You will also use the table saw, Domino joiner, hand-held router, planer, jointer, pocket hole jig and more. Size is 32" long, 16" deep and 27" tall. Bandsaw Set-Up

Monday, September 22, 6 PM - 9 PM

Learn how to select a blade and adjust the tension, set the guide blocks/bearings, check wheel alignment, change tires, switch blades and use the tilting table. In addition, some cutting techniques such as re-sawing and circle cutting will be covered as well. This is a hands-on class so come prepared to practice and get dusty. Materials included in tuition. Knife Making

Part 1: Tuesday, September 23, 6 PM - 9 PM

Part 2: Wednesday, September 24, 6 PM - 9 PM

The instructor will demonstrate blank preparation, attaching wood to metal and finishing the knife to a brilliant shine. Price includes wood scales and Modified Trailing Point Skinner knife blank. Materials included in tuition. No refunds for Cancellations/Reschedules within 7 days of class date.
