From Countertop to Live Edge Wood Surface and Floors. Epoxy Pouring required preparation, precision, and a good amount of experience and creativity. In this course our instructor will guide you in all steps to create a stunning, glossy finish that highlights the natural beauty of the wood.
In this class, we will make our own tools—specifically, a traditional wooden plow plane. You'll craft your own plow plane from start to finish: a versatile hand tool used for cutting grooves in wood, ideal for drawer bottoms, panels, and more. This class is perfect for intermediate woodworkers looking to expand both their skills and their tool collection. Over two evenings, we’ll cover tool design, layout, shaping, joinery, and blade fitting, with plenty of hands-on instruction along the way.
With Intro to Woodworking I, the student will learn the basic aspects, safety measures and uses of power tools and furniture assembly procedures. You will complete a small wall hanging cabinet. You will gain hands-on experience with basic joinery' how to "4 square" a board as well as hardware installation by the end of the last session.
